First World Championship in Brazil

7 years ago, in September 2005, the BSA hosted the 24th ISA World Championship.

The one-week-long event took place at the AABB Niteroi Club, in the city of Niteroi, in Rio de Janeiro State.

There were a full Brazil men’s team (at the time, a team consisted from 8 to 12 players) and a Brazil women’s team with 11 players, besides men and women’s teams from USA and Canada, a Japan women’s team, and a United Nation men’s team. Canada was the champion in Men and Women divisions.

World Shuffleboard Championship 2012 starts next month!

World Shuffleboard Championship is coming to Seattle, for the first time in it’s 31 year history.

The Boys from Brazil are headed to Seattle, Washington, USA, to show you all how its done Brazilian style. Luiz Pimentel of Rio de Janeiro and President of the Brazilian Shuffleboard Association will be bringing a team of his top shuffleboard players to the 31st World Team Shuffleboard Championship, being held at the Granite Curling Club of Seattle, from 5 to 10 August.
